Inspired by the fan vaulted ceiling in Bishop Audley's Chapel, Salisbury Cathedral.
A painted whole cloth featuring heavy machine trapunto quilting. The aged paint effect was created using markal sticks (through a stencil) and silk paint. Gold leaf was added as the finishing touch.
